Names are subjective, of course, and, over the years, carmakers have had uneven success with naming the thousands of models they have manufactured. Some names have worked better than others. Who remembers the dreadful Pontiac Aztek? Or the Dodge Aries K Car?

On the other hand, carmakers crafted some cool car names and, for whatever reasons, later discontinued them. Here then, in honor of models past (and, in some cases, makes and models past), is a list of cars that had cool names but are no longer manufactured. Gone, but certainly not forgotten. The list is not in any ranked order.
