2025 Audi Q7

The four-ringed badge is a calling card for enthusiasts and luxury car buyers that speaks volumes. It signifies a vehicle that is thoroughly engaging and comfortable, no matter what’s underneath the hood.
Audi offers a vast array of vehicles in its lineup that has the same DNA we expect from this four-ringed badge. The 2025 Q7 is one of the more popular models, offering families everything the German brand provides them.
Would the Q7 be the right vehicle for your upwardly mobile family?
The good thing is that all Audis have a familiar design language. The Q7 follows a pattern laid down on this second-generation model, now on its second facelift since its debut in 2015. The front end retains a large grille area, now defined by bold horizontal and vertical elements integrated with sensors and the four ring badge. The LED headlamps are matrix-design that include turn signals and driving lamps.
The profile itself yields a practical side to this Audi. The belt line allows depth in the side glass augmented by some creases along the side. The rear end finishes with a set of LED taillights and a wide sculpted liftgate.

Our tester came with a few packages. One of which is the Black Optic package, adding black and dark finished badging all around the Q7, plus dark finished exhaust tips. The finishing touch is a set of dark-finished 21-inch alloy wheels.
The one thing Audi is known for is creating an engaged driving experience. That starts with the instrument panel. The digital instrument cluster is comprehensively informative and easy to understand. There are two touchscreens in the center stack – one for the infotainment system, the other for the climate control. Switchgear and buttons are easy to use and are tactile including the chunky transmission shifter.

The leather seats offer comfort and support over the miles. Our tester had a three-seat second row, which is also comfortable and offer lots of space for everyone. The third row is easy to access, but it is best for children for use. Cargo space starts with 14.2 cubic feet behind the third row of seats. With both the third- and second-row seats down, there is a maximum of 69.6 cubic feet of usable cargo space.

Power for our tester comes from what Audi calls the 55 TFSI engine – a 335-horsepower 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 that also puts down 369 pound-feet of torque. It is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission sending power to the quattro all-wheel drive system.
Power comes on smooth with strong response to the throttle. It cruises effortlessly and comfortably at highways speeds. In regard to fuel economy, we achieved 20.7 MPG.
Equipped with the comfort adaptive air suspension system, the ride quality is beyond smooth. It absorbed miles of rougher surfaces and made for a great driving experience. Handling was flat and yielded nominal lean and roll through the turns and evasive maneuvers.
Our Q7 tester also came with all-wheel steering, which made for tighter turns than expected. Steering response and action were terrific. On-center feel was definitely on point. The braking system yielded good stops in normal and panic situations. The pedal feel was superb, as was the response down to the wheels.

There are three engines available on the 2025 Audi Q7 – including the Audi Sport SQ7. You can add packages to fit your personality, as well. Pricing starts at $60,500 for the Q7 lineup. Our 55 TFSI quattro tester equipped with the Prestige and Black Optic packages came with a sticker price of $88,790.
In the luxury/premium mid-size SUV segment, brand loyalty is a factor to deciding which vehicle to choose. However, that does not prevent a consumer from shopping around for the better vehicle. For those who are cross-shopping, the Audi Q7 is compared to the Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, Lexus TX, Infiniti QX60, Genesis GV80, Jeep Grand Cherokee L, Cadillac XT6, Lincoln Aviator, Volvo XC90 and Buick Enclave.
However, brand loyalty also means that loyal customers know what they are getting. The 2025 Audi Q7 offers its four-ringed badge loyalists the mix of what they expect in their vehicles. That means an undeniable design signature with an engaging driving experience. For families that want an Audi, the Q7 will meet your standards without question.
